Two Drawings

Here are two drawings for speedway's children coloring pages. Base on the their designs and descriptions they gave me. Unfortunately, the project doesn't involved lots of character development (lots of concepts remind me too much of the movie "Cars"). But still, a good chance to practice. Lucky I was able to play with the composition and re-create some of their characters.

1. First Page I have done, but I did too much alternations of the main character, so i needed to re-draw part of it. But I like this one more.

2. The Second drawing got approved, noticed the guy in the middle changed a lot?

Finally..Here is the New Cover for the book

Here is the cover. Font of "baking" needs to be change still.

Self-improvement: I work really fast nowadays, but quality remains.

These girls look so adorable! Don't you love them?

Not updating for over 2 months...

I felt bad, but I really tried to post something. But I don't like most of the stuff I am doing right now. So what the heck....

New Illustration!!

The first finished sketch, 8*12, Scanned in Photoshop




Color in photoshop, client wanted capcakes to be more subttle, and the face need to have more similarity to the real model





Face has changed. Client didn't like the new face, they want the old one.






Finished illustration.
Client changed their mind, so I m on my way to draw another cover for them.


I've spend so much time on this illustration..
The process of the whole is very very slow, but I think, making my client happy in the end is the key(sometimes is extremly hard). So in this project, my clients are constantly changing their mind, I followed every instructions that they had given.
